PACKET PICKUP POLICY

  • YOUR QR CODE IN YOUR REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION EMAIL IS REQUIRED. IT WAS SENT FROM RUNSIGNUP THE DAY YOU REGISTERED.

  • Can’t find it?

  1. Log into runsignup.com

  2. Select Profile Picture in upper right corner and select Profile

  3. Find the event under “Upcoming Events” and select Resend Confirmation

  • ANY CHANGES MUST BE MADE BY THE PARTICIPANT AT LEAST 30 DAYS BEFORE RACE DAY. See below on how to manage your registration. Staff cannot make changes at packet pickup.

  • IF RACE PACKET DELIVERY WAS NOT ADDED, YOU MUST ATTEND PACKET PICKUP THE DAY BEFORE THE RACE.

  • YOU CANNOT PICK UP AFTER PACKET PICKUP CLOSES - NO EXCEPTIONS!

  • TAP HERE TO SKIP PACKET PICKUP AND HAVE YOUR PACKET MAILED TO YOU

  • Picking up for others is allowed with their QR code.

  • Picking up for 20+? Please email us at least 1 week in advance with your estimated pickup time.

HOW TO MANAGE YOUR REGISTRATION

ANY CHANGES MUST BE MADE BY THE PARTICIPANT AT LEAST 30 DAYS BEFORE RACE DAY.

Select the "Manage Registration" link above your QR code in your registration confirmation email from RunSignup

  1. Log into www.runsignup.com

  2. Select Profile Picture in upper right corner and select Profile

  3. Find the event under “Upcoming Events” and select Manage Registration

  4. Select your option:

  • Transfer Event - to change distances within the same race (upgrade, downgrade, switch to virtual/in-person, etc.)

  • Transfer to Another Race - to transfer to another race in the Irving Marathon Running Series

  • Transfer to Someone Else

  • Add-Ons - Race Packet Delivery, VIP Area Access, Spectator Passes, Swag, 2-DAY Challenge, etc.

  • Giveaway - to change shirt size on your registration

  • Shipping - to update shipping address. (Editing your address on your main profile will NOT change your information for any races or events you have already registered for.  If you need information updated for races you have already registered for, please update by following these instructions.)

  • Estimated Time - to update estimated finish time

  • Team Challenge - to create a new team or join an existing team

  • Defer Registration - to defer registration to the same race next year. This is Step 1. YOU MUST COMPLETE YOUR DEFERRAL when next year’s registration opens. The deadline to do this is 30 days before race day or when the race sells out.

    • STEP 2 - TO COMPLETE YOUR DEFERRAL WHEN NEXT YEAR’S REGISTRATION OPENS

      • Go to www.runsignup.com

      • Select Profile Picture in upper right corner and select Sign In

      • Select Profile Picture again and select Profile

      • Select the name of the account you would like to manage if more than one person is on the account

      • Select "Deferrals" (Mobile - Tap 3 bar icon next to Upcoming Events or Desktop - top of the page)

      • Select "Complete Deferral"

      • Select "Start Transfer" to complete your deferral and transfer into the current year’s race

REFUND POLICY

This event follows the standard running industry policy: All entry fees are non-refundable. When you register for an event, you are making a non-refundable purchasing decision and must agree to this policy. This policy stays in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected emergency, illness, pregnancy, etc. There are NO exceptions. Once you register, unrecoverable racecourse services and items have already been paid for you as if you will be attending the event. In the case the event is canceled due to circumstances beyond the control of Irving Marathon Group, including but not limited to inclement weather, fires, floods, terrorism, labor strikes, acts of God, no refunds will be issued as unrecoverable racecourse services and items have already been paid for as the event were to take place.

TRANSFER POLICY

  • TRANSFER EVENT (to change distances/upgrade/downgrade)

    • How: Select the Manage Registration link in your registration confirmation email from RunSignup and select “Transfer Events.”

    • Transfer Events Policy: Deadline is before packet pickup closes the day before the race. If you miss the deadline you cannot transfer - NO EXCEPTIONS. Participants that do not complete the distance they registered for will be disqualified and have a finish time of DNF (Did Not Finish). Refunds are not given for transfers or disqualifications. You cannot transfer to a sold-out distance. Changes CANNOT be made at Packet Pickup. Transfer Fee is $30.

  • TRANSFER TO ANOTHER RACE

    • How: Select the Manage Registration link in your registration confirmation email from RunSignup and select “Transfer To Another Race.”

    • Transfer To Another Race Policy: Deadline is 30 days before race day. If you miss the deadline, you cannot transfer - NO EXCEPTIONS. The deadline is 30 days because unrecoverable racecourse services and items have already been paid for as if you will be participating in the event. Transfer Fee is $30.

  • DEFER TO NEXT YEAR

    • How: Select the Manage Registration link in your registration confirmation email from RunSignup and select “Defer.”

    • Defer Policy: Deadline is 30 days before race day. If you miss the deadline, you cannot defer - NO EXCEPTIONS. The deadline is 30 days because unrecoverable racecourse services and items have already been paid for as if you will be participating in the event. Defer Fee is $30.

  • TRANSFER TO VIRTUAL EVENT

    • How: Select the Manage Registration link in your registration confirmation email from RunSignup and select “Transfer Events.”

    • Transfer to Virtual Policy: Deadline is race day. Deadline to submit results is 1 week after race day. If you miss the deadline, you cannot transfer - NO EXCEPTIONS. Transfer Fee: $30.

  • TRANSFER TO SOMEONE ELSE

    • How: Select the Manage Registration link in your registration confirmation email from RunSignup and select “Transfer To Someone Else.”

    • Transfer to Someone Else Policy: Deadline is before packet pickup closes the day before the race. If you miss the deadline, you cannot transfer - NO EXCEPTIONS. Transfer Fee: $0.

PARKING

  • Location

    • Urban Towers Parking Garage 222 W. Las Colinas Blvd., Irving, TX 75039

    • This is the only authorized parking garage. Do not park in the surface lot or anywhere else.

    • Unauthorized parking may result in towing at the owner’s expense. IMRS is not liable for towing fees.

  • Cost

  • Arrival Time

    • Garage opens 2–3 hours before race start (see race website for exact time).

    • Arrive and park at least 1 hour before your start time.

    • Runners must start on time. Late starts are not allowed.

RACE REQUIREMENTS

  • RACE START REQUIREMENTS

    • PARK AND ARRIVE AT LEAST 1 HOUR BEFORE YOUR RACE START TIME.

    • LINE UP IN YOUR CORRAL 10-25 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR RACE START TIME.

    • START AT YOUR RACE START TIME.

      • YOU MUST START AT YOUR RACE START TIME WITH YOUR RACE DISTANCE.

      • CORRALS CLOSE FOR EACH RACE DISTANCE AFTER IT STARTS.

      • YOU CANNOT START WITH A DIFFERENT RACE DISTANCE.

      • THOSE NOT ON TIME WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

      • NO EXCEPTIONS!

  • BIB REQUIREMENTS

    • BIBS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS OF ALL AGES TO ENTER CORRALS AND BE ON COURSE.

    • WEAR YOUR RACE BIB ON THE FRONT OF YOUR SHIRT SO THAT POLICE AND RACE OFFICIALS KNOW YOU ARE AN OFFICIALLY REGISTERED RUNNER.

    • NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO ENTER THE CORRALS AND BE ON COURSE WITHOUT A BIB FACING FORWARD, SHOWING THE COMPLETE NUMBER.

    • ANYONE WITHOUT A BIB IS NOT ALLOWED AND WILL BE ESCORTED OFF COURSE, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

RACE RESTRICTIONS

  • Group Assignments - All participants are assigned a start group (Group A-E) according to their estimated finish time. Group A starts first, then B-E to follow. You are allowed to start with a group after you, but you cannot start with a group before you.

  • Walking Policy - Walking is allowed. Please be advised participants must finish the course before course closure. See time limits below.

  • Age Requirement - There is no age requirement. ALL participants regardless of age must register and wear a bib facing forward to enter the corrals and be on course.

  • Stroller Policy - Strollers are currently permitted.* A stroller must be pushed, not pulled at all times. For safety reasons, any child in a stroller must remain inside the stroller while in all bib-required areas, including race corrals and along the course. After finishing, you must fully exit the bib-required area before removing your child from the stroller. Do not remove your child from the stroller to cross the finish line. If you would like your child to be outside of the stroller in bib-required areas, they must be officially registered for the race and wear their own race bib. *This policy is currently under review and subject to change at any time. As participation grows, a stroller add-on fee may be required in the future. Refer here for the most up-to-date information.

  • Headphones - are allowed and encouraged to be used with the RaceJoy App.

  • Skates, bicycles, and other non-official wheeled vehicles are NOT allowed.

  • Wheelchairs - Wheelchairs are allowed. Please be advised on the following: Extra caution should be used around hazardous areas such as the promenade along water canals, stay off train tracks, and currently the only median curb required to go over in all 8 races would be the Love on the Run 10k turn around and the St. Patrick's 5-Mile turn around. There is not a separate wheelchair division for awards. There is not a separate wheelchair corral group. There are no head starts. You must enter your estimated finish time when registering and start in the appropriate corral group.

  • Drones - Personal use of drones is not allowed for many reasons, mainly because it is against the law. The area is a controlled airspace with authorization required. The only permitted drone is the one operated by the Irving Marathon Running Series licensed pilot with a permit and airspace authorization from the FAA to operate.

DID NOT FINISH

  • Participants that did not finish the distance they registered for will be disqualified and marked as DNF. This applies to any situation the registered distance is not completed in full. If you wish to transfer to another distance, see transfer policy above.

  • Participants that did not finish the course by course closure will be disqualified and marked as DNF. Participants still on course after course closure will need to move to the sidewalk and follow Texas pedestrian laws. Water/Aid stations will be closed. The Irving Marathon Running Series is not responsible for anyone on course after course closure.

      • Fiesta de Mayo Half Marathon (All Distances) - 3h 30m

      • Irving Oktoberfest Half Marathon (All Distances) - 3h 30m

      • Irving Turkey Trot (All Distances) - 2h 30m

WATER STATIONS

  • Water Stations are provided every ~1.5 - 2 miles. Water and Electrolit* are provided at every water station. Pickle Juice*, bananas, and oranges are provided at marathon and half marathon water stations only. *Products are subject to change with any new sponsorships, such as energy drinks, bars, and other snacks being added. Products will be confirmed closer to the event and updated on course map details.

  • Runners are allowed to carry their own hydration/nutrition of choice. This includes water bottles, fanny packs, camelbaks, etc.

PORTABLE TOILETS

Portable Toilets are provided every ~1.5 - 2 miles.

RACE PACKET DELIVERY

If you ordered the VIP PACKAGE or RACE PACKET DELIVERY ADD-ON, your race packet will be shipped 7-10 days before race day. You will receive a tracking email when shipped and delivered. Orders are 1 per person.
To order race packet delivery, you can either:
1. Order it during registration
2. Order it after registration by signing into your RunSignup account, go to your profile, see the event under upcoming registrations, select manage registration, select add-ons, change quanitity under race packet delivery, and check out.
3. Or TAP HERE to purchase it through our merchandise store and our team will add it your registration.

VIP AREA ACCESS

If you purchased the VIP Package or the VIP Area Access Add-On, your name will be on the VIP list. Simply check in at the VIP Area on race day to receive your wristband.

SPECTATOR PASSES

Spectator Passes provide coupons required to redeem food and beverage on race day. They are not required to be at the venue at this time; however, this may change for future races as registration numbers continue to grow. Your family is welcome to come cheer you on without purchasing a spectator pass unless they would like the included food and beverage coupons. You can find additional details here: SPECTATOR INFO

IRVING MARATHON 2-DAY CHALLENGE

The Irving Marathon 2-Day Challenge involves the Irving Marathon - 5K/10K on Saturday, March 28, 2026 and the Marathon/Half Marathon on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Anyone can participate in the challenge, but in order to receive the additional 2-Day Challenge Medal and Irving Marathon Jacket, you must add the 2-Day Challenge Add-On.

To participate,
1. Go to the signup page: https://runsignup.com/Race/Register/?raceId=85712
2. Check the box that says Marathon or Half Marathon, select VIP or General from the drop-down menu
3. Check the box that says 5K or 10K, select VIP or General from the drop-down menu
4. Continue registration
5. Add the 2-Day Challenge add-on (optional, but required for additional medal and jacket)
6. Participate both days
7. Pick up your 2-Day Challenge Medal and Irving Marathon Jacket at the awards table on Sunday, March 29, 2026 after the race (if purchased)

EVENT SHIRTS

Event shirts are gender-specific. You can select Women’s or Men’s regardless of your gender. We do not offer youth sizes at this time, but hope to offer them once youth participation numbers increase.

  • Before Race Week: Ships within 7–10 business days.

  • During Race Week: Pickup at Packet Pickup or on Race Day (Merchandise Store).

  • Not Received: Pickup at Packet Pickup or on Race Day (Merchandise Store).

EXCHANGE POLICY

Event Shirts: Shirt exchanges can be made on race day before the race starts. A shirt exchange can be defined as you give us a shirt in order to receive another shirt. We cannot exchange your shirt unless you have it with you. We cannot exchange shirts that have been worn. We only order the size you selected during registration and make projections for late registrations. Participants are encouraged to either have their packet delivered or pickup at the earliest available packet pickup time to receive the size they ordered.

Online Store: Shirt exchanges can be made by completing the Merchandise Exchange Request Form on our Online Merchandise Store. Complete the Exchange Request Form to request an exchange. Please allow 3-5 days for your request to be processed. A pre-paid label and envelope will be included in the exchange package for the exchanged item to be returned. Exchanges or returns can be made no more than 15 days after purchase.  After 15 days, we cannot accept exchanges or returns.

DISCOUNTS

We have multiple ways to save!

  • We utilize a price increase schedule where the earlier you register, the more you save. Early bird prices are discounted 40%-60% from final pricing. For example, the starting price of a 5k is $39.99 compared to the final price $69.99.

  • There is a 15% discount when you select the 4+ Race Bundle and register for 4+ races.

  • There is a $5 discount per person when you select the multi-person discount and register 5+ people in the same transaction.

  • After you register, you will receive a referral link to share with others. After each person registers through that link, you will receive $5 back.

  • Registration prices may change at any time, including during promotional sales. Participants are responsible for the price at the time of purchase. We do not issue refunds, credits, or adjustments for price changes that occur after a registration is completed.

The Irving Marathon Running Series benefits the Irving Schools Foundation. Each event brings people worldwide together for a great cause! All donations go towards funding scholarships for Irving ISD students who have volunteered at our events! Learn How To Donate

ROAD CLOSURES

Roads are not closed for Irving Marathon Running Series events. The right outside lane is always open to maintain traffic flow. Off-duty police officers will be present along the route to manage intersections and minimize delays.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

All events will be held rain or shine. If there is lightning at the race start time, the event will be postponed for 30 minutes. If after 30 minutes lightning continues, the race will be canceled for safety reasons. If the race is canceled, it will not be rescheduled. No refunds will be issued as unrecoverable racecourse services and items have already been paid for as the event were to take place.
