What to expect…
If you are like us, you would like to know what to expect before attending an event. So we created these two maps to help give you an idea of the flow.
We will meet at Toyota Music Factory at 6:30pm where Camp Gladiator will do some fun stretching with us.
Then we will walk (not run) across the street to the entrance of Lake Carolyn and start our social 3 mile run. Please be sure to look both ways before crossing.
The running route
If you haven’t ran around Lake Carolyn, you are in for an awesome surprise. The lake and structures around it are beautiful specially at night. One of the Irving Marathon Ambassadors will be leading at the front. From there you can just follow along(see exhibit to the right). The path is ample, but be mindful of other runners and walkers.
When we get back to the start finish, please walk, not run up the stairs. Use the distance from the start/finish line back to Texas Lottery Plaza as your cool down.
We’ll be waiting for you at the Plaza with some refreshments. Pictures in the Plaza are awesome!
Is it even a social run if it doesn’t have beer?
The Irving Marathon is treating you to a couple free beers for those who drink. Our awesome partner Reservoir at Toyota Music Factory’s staff will be checking and serving. That means, bring your ID’s :).

I’m here … now where do i go?
If you are like us, we get easily confused when going to new places. Here’s a visual (for those like us) for when you get there. Please park in the garage, then walk over to Texas Lottery Plaza AKA “meet up area”.
